Number 12: Nana Addo diverting focus by sacking Korlebu CEO, others – Aseidu Nketia

General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Aseidu Nketia has accused the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of diversionary tactics with the sacking of some CEO’s on the day Anas was premiering his Number 12 video.

The President, yesterday June 6th 2018, sacked the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) CEO, Gifty Klenam and her deputies, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) CEO, Paul Asare Ansah and the Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST) Company, Alfred Obeng Boateng.

In an interview with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Aseidu Nketia explained that the action of the President was to prevent people from discussing the content of Anas’ expose.

According to Aseidu Nketia, Nana Addo and the National Security defended BOST CEO when his outfit was involved in the contaminated fuel saga. “Why has he been sacked now, that means the President lied to us”, he added.

“Everything shows that all that Kwasi Nyantakyi said in the video was true. It is obvious that the NPP uses Nyantakyi as an agent to take bribe from investors. Nyantakyi only revealed the deals and the conversations he had with members of the ruling NPP”, he said.
