Member of Parliament for Tema West and former Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah has said he will be surprised to see true NPP supporters turn their back against the candidature of Alan Kwakwo Kyeremanten to be the next flagbearer of the party.
According to him, the New Patriotic Party(NPP) is a party built on tradition and for that matter, it must continue as such.
Speaking in an interview with journalists at the Interdenominational and thanksgiving empowerment service with the former Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanten who is aspiring to lead the New Patriotic Party, the Tema West Member of Parliament, Carlos Ahenkorah said Alan Kyeremanten his former Boss is capable of leading the New Patriotic Party(NPP) to win elections 2024.
“We all supported President Akufo-Addo who contested with Alan Kyeremanten in 2007 to win based on the Principles the party believes in. But today people are trying to change the narrative.
“Anybody who supported President Akufo-Addo to win in 2007 but today has decided not to abide by the same principles, I will say is a hypocrite,” he added.
