Paying my debt- An autobiography by Daniel Owusu Koranteng

“Paying My Debt-An Autobiography” is a captivating life story of a renowned Activist from Ghana who has been described in a CNN documentary as “A man of many Missions”. He uses interesting narrative style to weave his story of poverty which resulted from the death of his father when he was nine years old.

It’s a hilarious story of life-threatening experiences, the sacrifice of a super-strict hardworking mother and support of some poor people which helped him to climb the rungs of his life from nadir to the zenith.

He regrets that he was unable to express gratitude to many of the poor people especially the benevolent poor old lady who supported him when he was struggling to have education.

He describes himself as a Debtor whose accomplishments have been made possible by the sacrifice of many people and that serves as the drive for his passion to work in the interest of the poor and vulnerable. The book is full of very useful lessons of life.

The book won the First Prize in the Creative Non-Fiction Category of the Ghana Association of Writers(GAW) Literary Awards of 2021.
Copies of the Book are available at the Legon Bookshop and BOOK NOOK .
