Photos: Goosie Tanoh "steals" show at Funeral

 

Presidential aspirant hopeful of Opposition National Democratic Congress, Goosie Tanoh on saturday attended the funeral of the Nana Akwesi Kwarteng the Akontombrahene and Benkumhene of Sefwi wiawso Tradional Area.

Goosie Tanoh, a look alike of former president Rawlings was the icon to watch when he stormed the funeral ground to mourn with families, friends and people of sefwi wiawso for the lost of their late chief.

Mourners at the funeral ground cheered and chanted Goosie!! Goosie!!! When he alighted from his white V8 Toyota land cruiser vehicle with some members of Organising for Ghana, organizers of #teamGoosie2020 campaign.

He was accompanied by General Secretary of NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, MP for Bodi, Sampson Arhin, Member of Parliament for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akando, former Western regional minister, Paul Evans Aidoo among others.

Goosie Tanoh is one of the 8 high profile personalities in the NDC who have pick up presidential nomination form to contest the flagbearership position of the party for election 2020.

He has been criss-crosing the country to engage delegates of the upcoming election with a message of hope to empower grassroots of the party who he says have been neglected for decades by past leaders of the party.

He has promised to restore the lost confidence of floating voters in the party, create job opportunities not for only members of his party but also for all the citizenry.

Goosie Tanoh is an original founding member of the NDC, he was the personal assistant to chairman Rawlings during the PNDC.
