Displaying speed, coordination and depth, the Police Athletics Team emerged as one of the standout performers at the Kumasi Relay Championship held on Saturday at the Paa Joe Sports Stadium.
A total of 28 athletes represented the Ghana Police Service in the fiercely contested event, which commenced at 9:30 a.m. and featured men’s and women’s relay races in the 4×100m, 4×200m, 4×400m and 4×800m categories.
With a blend of discipline, speed and endurance, the Police Athletics Team delivered a commanding display, capturing all four men’s relay titles and adding three gold medals from the women’s races.
