Police investigate alleged attack on Kofi Adomah, GJA condemns attack

The Ghana Police Service has begun an investigation into the alleged attack on Media Personlity and staff of Angel Broadcasting Network, Stephen Kofi Adomah.

It was reported that Kofi Adomah was attacked by some unknown assailants on August 6, 2022, at Old Ashongman Village in Accra while returning from Kuntunse.

According to sources, the unknown men tried to cut Kofi Adomah’s face with sharp objects but he tried to stop it with his arms, therefore sustaining cuts on his arm.

It is said that the attackers also tried to set him ablaze but they failed.

This was barely few weeks after Kofi Adomah was in the news for jittering his first wife for the new Mrs Miracle Adomah.

Meanwhile, the Police In a statement, the police said investigation into the alleged incident commenced immediately the matter came to the attention of the Police.

In a related development, the Ghana Journalists Association has also condemned the attack on Kofi Adomah.

“We find the attack heinous and dastardly and call on the Ghana Police Service to launch immediate investigations into the attack. We also urged the general public to support the police in the their investigations to bring the perpetrators to face the law. The GJA wishes Kofi Adomah Nwanwani a speedy recovery,” it added.
