The Administrative Bishop for Perez Chapel international, Apostle Raymond Acquah, has called on the general public to disregard false allegations being peddled by critics in the media.
The Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare while peaching to his congregants last Sunday among other things said many reputable indigenous businessmen and entrepreneurs have been destroyed out of jealousy and envy by some politicians over the years.
“In this country, we have always out of the spirit of envy, closed down industries and businesses of our own people. Growing up, there was a man called B.A Mensah, a builder and founder of International Tobacco Ghana limited. I will never forget when I came to Accra first and this honorable man came to my House at Adenta and asked me ‘Bishop can you pray with me so that my property that has been take so many years earlier will come to me’?, the man of God said.
After the video went viral, The Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare was accused of collapsing FirsTrust savings and loans after using his position as board of directors of to syphon money to the tune of GHS700m from the financial institution.
Reacting to the allegations on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ekourba Gyasi, The Administrative Bishop for Perez Chapel international, Apostle Raymond Acquah, although the man of God occupied such a sensitive position in the company owned by Businessman and Member of the Council of State, Mr Nii Kotei Dzani, it was a one time position and that he did not use his position to take any money from the company.
“Even though Bishop Charles Agyinasare was a one-time board Chair for FirsTrust savings and loans he had resigned as at the time the savings and loans collapsed”, he added.
