The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has slammed the Electoral Commission’s (EC) for sanctioning the re-collation of results at the National Police Training Centre in Accra.
NDC Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah told the press today that the ongoing exercise amounts to illegality .
“We in the NDC believe that what is happening at the Police Training School amounts to illegality,” he said. “It is not founded on any laws of our elections, neither is it based on any consensus that has been reached between the parties and the Electoral Commission.”
The NDC chairman further warned that all state officials taking part in the execrrsie will face the law when the NDC assumes office January 7
“Anybody using the arms of government to perpetrate any illegality will face the consequences when the NDC assumes power on January 7, 2025,” he warned.
