Revenue mobilization still inadequate not enough people are paying taxes and at the right rates, the President of the republic has said.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo made this revelation in an encounter with the media at the banquet hall of the jubilee house in Accra, Wednesday evening.
He called on the banks to lend to people at lower rates and that should be possible when people have verified GPS addresses.
“Not enough people are paying taxes and to generate income. We are working to rectify this because that is one of the ways where we can get to where we aim at”, he said.
