Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra has appointed Silvia Rajniak as its new General Manager, making her the first woman to hold the position at the five-star hotel.

Silvia brings over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She first joined Kempinski in 2009 and has since held several senior roles in Europe and Africa, including a previous position as Hotel Manager in Accra. Most recently, she served as General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay in Egypt.

‘Ghana has always felt like home,’ said Silvia Rajniak on her return to Accra. ‘I am honoured to take on the role of General Manager. Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra is very close to my heart, and with the support of our wonderful team, I am confident we will take this property to new heights.’

The appointment comes as the hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary, with new openings like ASANA Bar & Kitchen and community projects under its “10 Acts of Kindness” campaign.

Located in Accra, Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City is known for its luxury service, offering 269 rooms and suites, and is a key player in Ghana’s tourism industry.
