Social distancing, wearing of face masks to become the norm on campuses – Akufo-Addo

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says the wearing of masks and the adherence to the social distancing policy will be strictly enforced.

This is in line with the re-opening of schools for final year students in the various universities on Monday June15, 2020.

“Our intentions is to secure the lives of the nearly 200,000 lives of students and teachers returning to school tomorrow and I appeal to them, to do their part in our COVID-19 fight”, the President said while addressing the public during the 11th national address on COVID-19

He revealed that government cannot afford to let the pandemic limit the chances and survival of the general public.
