Ghanaian internationally recognised musician and development activist, Livingston Etse Satekla, popularly known as stonebwoy has appealed to government to join hands with private entities to organise skill training workshops and empower entrepreneurs to create more employments for the youth.

Unemployment is one of the most outstanding problems in Africa influencing many vices in our societies.

Many university graduates find it very difficult to find jobs because the job market chocked.

The multiple award winning singer and performer was of the belief that one of the most workable ways of reducing the galloping unemployment rate in the country is making the youth embrace vocational training and have entrepreneurial spirit in them so that they will not solely depend on white colour jobs.

For instance, in July last year stonebwoy through the Livingston Foundation organized a skill training workshop for the people of Ashiaman in the Greater Accra region.

The initiative which covered areas such as small scale farming, entrepreneurial development training, food processing, fashion accessories production, production of household cleaning projects etc. is helping hundreds of people to feed themselves and their families.

Stonebwoy called on both government and Non Governmental Organizations to come together to help solve this generational problem.
