Tesano Police Depot: Re-collation exercise lacks transparency -NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has demanded that the Electoral Commission (EC) immediately suspend the ongoing collation or re-collation exercise.

The party’s General Secretary Fifi Kwetey underlined the importance of holding an emergency Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting to resolve the situation, calling it as important to Ghana’s democratic process

“The purported collation or re-collation exercise currently underway lacks transparency and undermines the integrity of the electoral process.

It therefore demanded the immediate suspension of the process and called for  IPAC meeting to resolve this issue,” the statement read.

The General Secretary appealed to all stakeholders, CSOs and the international community, to closely monitor developments to ensure fairness and uphold democratic principles.
