"Thank you for prioritizing healthcare" – Bekwai constituents laud Joe Osei Owusu

 
Constituents of Bekwai have extended a hearty note of gratitude to their Member of Parliament, Hon. Joe Osei Owusu for making the health needs of the people a matter of utmost priority.
According to them, five decades after sod cutting and following prolonged capture in the budgets of successive governments, the Bekwai Municipal Hospital is scheduled to be completed by November this year.
Such renewed impetus and attention under President Akufo-Addo and the MP of the Area, Hon. Joe Osei Owusu has ensured that the 20 bed capacity Hospital when completed will serve as the go-to centre within the Bekwai constituency and its adjoining communities for quality, reliable healthcare.
It is their fervent belief that, the fresh lease of life comes after Hon. Joe Osei Owusu, who is also the 1st, Deputy Speaker of Parliament contributed to secure a 2 Million facility in August 2019 towards its completion.
With an impressive focus on prioritizing healthcare for the people of the area, the Member of Parliament has also put up a state of the art clinic at Poano- a suburb of the Constituency. The facility is nearing completion with over 80 percent of work completed.
Motivated by the fact that a healthy workforce translates into a productive population, Hon. Joe Osei Owusu has also built four new Community Health and Planning Services (CHPS) compounds and replaced obsolete equipment in about six health facilities to the tune of GhC 600,000.
