Manchester United refuse to give up their pursuit of Jadon Sancho despite Borussia Dortmund ruling out a move.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc insists the England international, valued at £108million by his club, is going nowhere this summer.
Zorc said: “We plan on having Sancho in our team this season. The decision is final.”
Sky Sports report United are frustrated by the fact they have been unable to negotiate directly with the Bundesliga runners-up.
But they are not willing to throw in the towel and hope an agreement to sign Sancho, 20, can still be reached.
Sky Sports also claim Chelsea are interested in signing Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico.
The Argentine, capped 25 times by his country, could become the second player to leave the Dutch giants for Stamford Bridge ahead of the new season following the arrival of Hakim Ziyech.
Tagliafico, 27, scored five goals in 38 appearances for Ajax last term and is under contract until the summer of 2022.
The Blues are determined to make room for new arrivals by offloading several squad players, including midfield flop Tiemoue Bakayoko.
According to The Sun, the France international has been told he has no future at the Bridge after spending the last two seasons out on loan.
And Chelsea are now expected to slash their asking price in order to ditch the unwanted 25-year-old.
Sticking with Frank Lampard’s men, The Express report that Fulham are set to take Blues starlet Ethan Ampadu on a season-long loan.
Ampadu, 19, is highly rated by Lampard but the manager is keen for the versatile Welshman to gain experience with a Premier League club before pushing for a regular place in his first-team squad.
Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is not wanted at Juventus following the appointment of Andrea Pirlo, according to The Mirror.
Ramsey, who joined the Italian giants on a free transfer last summer, is surplus to requirements under the new regime.
The Welshman, 29, started just 11 Serie A matches last season but reported wages of £250,000-a-week limit his options.
Pirlo was unveiled as Juve’s new head coach on Sunday following the sacking of Maurizio Sarri.
Free agent Willian has undergone a medical at Arsenal following his exit from Chelsea, report the Evening Standard.
The Brazilian, 32, will become Mikel Arteta’s first summer signing when he arrives at the Emirates on what is believed to be a three-year deal.
Leeds, meanwhile, are maintaining their efforts to land highly-rated Brighton defender Ben White.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Elland Road last season but the Seagulls are holding firm and Sky Sports report a £22m bid is the latest offer to be rejected.
