Two children were killed and five others were severely injured when a church building collapsed on members during worship on Sunday at Gomoa Akoti in the Central Region.
According to reports, the devastation was caused by a severe storm that accompanied Sunday’s rain in some parts of the country.
The injured are being treated at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.
This tragic incident occurred at the New Heaven Grace Chapel in Gomoa Akoti, Gomoa East District, Central Region.
The disaster was caused by strong winds, according to Prophet Peter Osei Owusu, General Overseer of the New Heaven Grace Chapel.
Many of his members, he claims, would have died if it hadn’t been for God’s protection.
