Following reports that just residues of gunpowder dropped on his eyes, Wife of Broadcast Journalist, Kofi Adomah, Miracle Adomah has clarified that her husband was shot in the face.
According to her, being shot in the face is not a joke, urging Ghanaians to be sensitive while talking about the issue.

Kofi Adomah is said to have attended a traditional event by Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II on the ticket of his employers and Kofi TV.
Kofi and his team went to the function feeling very well.
Unfortunately, at the programme, as part of the festival celebrations, some trained persons fire guns with gunpowder.
Usually, these guns are fired up in the sky, but she said for this one, the one who pulled the trigger did not shoot it up but laid it on his shoulder and shot it.
Due to this, Miracle said her husband was shot in the face.
“My husband was shot in the face, he was shot in the face. It was not gunpowder,” she said.
She said even the camera used to record the incident got broken.
According to her, following the incident, there have been a lot of inaccurate reports about the shooting incident that has led to the partial loss of one eye.
She debunked claims that only drops of the gunpowder poured on Kofi Adomah’s eyes. Also, she said she was not at the programme as reported.
Meanwhile, Miracle Adomah said the family had to fly Kofi Adomah to Dubai after he received first aid treatment at the Dormaa hospital for the treatment of his eyes.
Although he is back and out of critical condition, she said Kofi’s left eye is unable to see well, adding that the family is making preparations to send him back to Dubai for further treatment.
She also assured to drop the full details of the incident for future references.
