Residents of Teshie in the Greater Accra Region are angry over the abandoned 7.5-kilometer road in the area.
The resident, who embarked on a demonstration Sunday, say the over three-year project has now become a death trap, particularly to pregnant women and the sick who ply the road to the LEKMA Hospital.
They are demanding immediate completion of the road within three weeks.
Their action follows a similar agitation by their counterparts at Madina and Adenta who are also unhappy about uncompleted footbridges on the Madina-Adenta highway, a situation which has led to several preventable deaths.
