The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has started the piloting of the new voter registration exercise in some selected constituencies.
The compilation of the new register will begin from late June 2020 and will be completed within 40 days.
The EC says it has also procured Personal Protective Equipment’s such as veronica buckets, liquid soaps, sanitizer among others to ensure the safety of both EC officials as well as people who would be trooping in to register.
