We are ready for more arrests; we will not be discouraged- Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Party (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has stated that members of the party are not discouraged by the arrest of their communications officer, but are ready to speak about all falsehoods in the Akuffo-led administration which is likely to call for more arrest.
According to him, the Akuffo Addo-led government is determined to arrest anybody who points out falsehood assertions made by the government, a situation he describes as unfortunate.
Speaking on an Accra based FM station on Tuesday 28th, 2020 in Accra, Mr. Asiedu Nketia said, “We are ready for more arrest and we will not be discouraged.”
He continued,“Be encouraged by Sammy Gyamfi’s arrest and speak against any falsehood assertions peddled by the Nana Addo led administration.”
“They can take all members of the NDC to prison, we will still point out the falsehoods they are accusing and arresting us for,” he said.
Mr. Nketia observed that if you are arrested for a falsehood you pointed out in Nana Addo governance, your name will be in the history of the country for contributing your quota for the stand of the Nation Ghana.
“If you are arrested too, your name will go down in the history of the country,” he said.
Sammy Gyamfi’s, was on Monday 27th January, 2020 picked up by officers of the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on allegations of forgery and false publication made against him by the Jubilee House
