2020: John Dumelo braids lady's hair for votes

Actor, John Domelo  has adopted some unconventional methods to win votes ahead of the 2020 election.
The fine actor is contesting  the Ayawaso West- Wuogon seat on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The constituency has always been the preserve of the NPP since 1996 when the NDC’s Rebecca Adotey was booted out and  it appears Mr Dumelo is adopting interesting campaign strategies to snatch the seat for the NDC this time around. After embarking on what could  best be described as a room-to-room campaign at the University of Ghana, the Ghallywood actor is also braiding ladies’ hair at the University   as part of his campaign strategy.
A photo of Mr Dumelo pounding fufu for a potential voter in his constituency has  also gone viral on social media.
While some believe  the  the strategies  adopted by John Dumelo  are populist in nature, others hold the view that, such actions are appreciated by the masses  and could sway votes  during the  this year’s general elections.
