Ghana’s ProGen FC has arrived in Sweden to represent Ghana at the 2023 Gothia Cup.
The Gothia Cup is an international youth association football tournament organized by professional football club BK Häcken, which has been held annually since 1975 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
752 teams from 36 countries are currently registered for the 2023 edition.
The opening ceremony which will be Ullevi Stadium, is estimated to attract 50,000 spectators and international soccer participants including scouts.
ProGen FC has been to the tournament so many times and won trophies for Mother Ghana.
Speaking to our Atinka News reporter, Ebenezer Kewaw Madugu, Head Coach of ProGen FC, Coach Nana Kwesi Agyemang, assured supporters that the team win some trophies this year too.

The team has also pushed players to the European market through this tournament.
The tournament starts on Sunday, July 16, 2023, and ends on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
