Inflation rate for the month of November has once again inched up from 40.4% recorded in October
2022 to 50.3%.
This was revealed at a press briefing by the Government Statistician, Prof. Kobena
Annim.
Food inflation recorded for November, 2022 stood at 55.3% whiles non-food inflation stood
at 46.5%.
Locally produced items recorded a rate of 48.3%, while imported items recorded a rate of 55.1%.
Central region recorded the highest food inflation with a rate of 71.7% while Greater Accra recorded
the highest non-food inflation.
Overall, food prices have increased in the month of November as compared to Octobe
