The Greater Accra Regional 2nd Vice Chairman and former Constituency chairman for the Madina Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP-Eric Nartey Yeboah, also known as Chairman Dollar, has provided over 250 street lights to illuminate his Madina constituency and the surrounding communities and villages, such as Oyibi, Ayi Mensah, Danfa, Adoteiman, Otinibi, and others.
The streets at Madina have been crippled with darkness for some time now, and Chairman Dollar, and his NPP executives have made some promises to the people in the area, even though Madina has an MP to light up the constituency.
According to the chairman and his executives, it’s their duty as a party to support the people in the area with some developmental needs.

According to him, this is the first time a non-governmental entity has taken it upon themselves to provide for the needs of the people.
Over 250 street lights have been arected on the streets of Ayi Mensah, Otinibi, and Amrahia. This, according to the former Madina Chairman and the current 2nd Vice-Chair, Greater Accra Region, Eric Yeboah Papa Ericooo, was part of the NPP Madina Constituency’s corporate social responsibility to the people of the communities.

Chairman Dollar and the NPP commissioned two ultra-modern 23-seater toilet facilities about two weeks ago to ensure proper sanitation. Chairman Dollar told the media that the provision of street lighting is part of the promises they made as a political party (NPP) to the people of Madina Constituency.
“I hope and pray that the various constituencies under whose care these lights are will see to their maintenance in order for them to last longer and achieve their purpose.
“Too much darkness kills the nightlife within the constituency and encourages criminals to harm innocent citizens,” he explained. He emphasized that when people don’t feel safe, it thwarts development, and as a development agent, I feel compelled to help.

“As someone who is passionate about the development of Madina, I intend to support the communities to light up my constituency,” he stated.
Chairman Dollar has promised the people in the Madina constituency that their bad road networks are their next target to ease pressure on transportation and commuters plying these roads.
Let there be light, and there was light at Madina.
