The National Democratic Congress (NDC) chapter of the Western Region has congratulated Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah and Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey on their nominations as Deputy Minister of Health Designate and Deputy Minister of Transport, respectively.
In a statement signed by the Regional Communication Officer, Richard Kirk-Mensah, these appointments resonates with President Mahama’s commitment to empowering Ghanaian women by entrusting them with leadership roles in critical areas

“We sincerely thank the President of the Republic, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, for once again recognizing the Western Region in his government”the statement added.
It contained that, “as a United States-trained surgeon, Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah will leverage her expertise to enhance healthcare delivery, supporting her sector minister in line with the NDC government’s vision of making quality healthcare accessible to all Ghanaians.
“Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, a two-term Member of Parliament for Jomoro, will bring her acquired skills and knowledge from both Ghana and America to support her sector minister in achieving the President’s vision for the transport sector”.
The statement states that “the entire Western Region is proud of our two nominees, and we are confident that they will collaborate with other appointees and party leadership to drive growth in the region”.
