Liverpool have an agreement with Barcelona that no player will be sold to the Spanish champions until 2021, according to reports in Spain.
Liverpool sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £145million in January.
It is reported that when Barcelona made the move for the playmaker, Liverpool asked for a clause to be written into the deal. That clause, according to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, states that Barcelona can't sign another Liverpool player for three years.
The agreement, however, is only valid if Liverpool do not choose to actively sell their before the 2021 cut-off date.
Mohamed Salah, who enjoyed a fantastic season for Jurgen Klopp's side last term, has been linked to a move to Barcelona. Under the agreement, that move can't materialise unless Liverpool choose to offer him to clubs, including Barcelona.
