Ministry of Education Reschedules Release of 2026/27 School Placement Results

The Ministry of Education has postponed the release of the 2026/2027 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results.

The results, which were scheduled to be released on Monday, August 31, will now be released on Friday, September 4, 2026.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry on August 30, the decision follows requests from some parents, guardians, students and Heads of Schools for more time to complete the submission and uploading of students’ data onto the platforms of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the CSSPS.

The Ministry said the extension would ensure that all qualified students have their required information properly captured for placement into Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

It revealed that about 20,000 qualified students have still not had their school choices uploaded onto the CSSPS platform.

The Ministry has therefore urged parents, guardians, students and Heads of Schools to use the extension period to complete all outstanding submissions.

It assured the public of its commitment to ensuring a fair, transparent and orderly placement process for qualified students.
