Big Aidoo Pays Filing Fees for NDC Constituency Executives in Western North
Western North Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Michael Aidoo, popularly known as Big Aidoo, has fully covered the filing fees for all current Constituency Executives across the nine constituencies in the region ahead of the party’s upcoming internal elections.
In a statement signed by Wisdom Hedidor, Personal Assistant to the Regional Chairman, H.E. Michael Aidoo (Big Aidoo), the gesture is intended to express his appreciation for the dedication, commitment and hard work demonstrated by the Constituency Executives, particularly during the 2024 general elections.
It said the executives played a significant role in the NDC’s electoral performance in the Western North Region, contributing to the party’s 8 out of 9 parliamentary victories and the 9 out of 9 support for President John Dramani Mahama in the region.
Mr. Aidoo acknowledged the sacrifices and tireless efforts of the constituency executives, stressing that their contribution to the party’s success had not gone unnoticed.
He said he considers it a privilege to support the executives as they prepare for the internal elections, describing the payment of their filing fees as a token of his gratitude for their loyalty, dedication and selfless service to the NDC.
Chairman Big Aidoo further assured all Constituency Chairmen that the funds covering the filing fees would be released one clear week before the commencement of the nomination filing process, allowing the executives to complete the process without financial difficulty.
He expressed confidence that delegates would recognise and reward the hard work, commitment and continued service of the current Constituency Executives when the internal elections are held.
Mr. Aidoo urged all Constituency Executives to remain united and committed to the growth and success of the NDC, encouraging them to accept the gesture as a demonstration of his love, gratitude and appreciation for their contribution to the party.
