Let us fight coronavirus together- ACCCCAR to all stakeholders

The Association of Concerned Cape Coast Citizens and Residents (ACCCCAR), has called on
all the respective Institutions and other stakeholders to join hands to combat coronavirus.
ACCCCAR identified that although the entire world is at a serious risk, Ghana and the ancient Capital is of no exception, underscoring therefore the need to fight the disease together.
“The Association also wishes to call on the Metropolitan Assemblies, Traditional Authorities, Directorates of Health at all levels, Ghana Education Service and the Educational Service at all levels, Security Agencies, particularly Ghana Police Service to come up with safety measures in our Jurisdiction to combat the pandemic,” the ACCCCAR appealed.

*PRESS RELEASE BY ASSOCIATION OF CONCERNED CAPE COAST CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS (ACCCCAR) ON COVID-19 PANDEMIC* (Coronavirus)
The Association of Concerned Cape Coast Citizens and Residents (ACCCCAR), wishes to express our deep concern about the recent pandemic engulfing the World and has brought fear to the people of Cape Coast and beyond.
As a Concerned Association, we are calling on all the respective Institutions and other stakeholders to join hands to combat such a treacherous pandemic. Indeed, the entire World is at a serious risk and our Country and ancient Capital is of no exception.
We are also aware that our President has come up with stringent measures and directives for all of us to strictly adhere to.
The Association also wishes to call on the Metropolitan Assemblies, Traditional Authorities, Directorates of Health at all levels, Ghana Education Service and the Educational Service at all levels, Security Agencies, particularly Ghana Police Service to come up with safety measures in our Jurisdiction to combat the pandemic.
Also The Concerned Citizens Association wishes to use this opportunity to join hands with all Institutions by reminding our citizenry to stay safe by obeying the mandates laid down.
 Prevention as they say is better than cure. There are some basic things that you can do.
Avoid crowds
Wash your hands very often with running water and soap.
Apply hand sanitizers where applicable.
Cough into folded elbow
Avoid hand shakes, hugging and kissing.
Eat lots of fruits- especially oranges and lemons. Stay hydrated.
Cover all meats, fish and foods
Check with your Doctor if you don’t feel good.
