The EC Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensa has reiterated that with God on their side, the 2020 election will be more victorious, successful, violent free, orderly and timely.
She gave the assurance at a Prayer and Thanksgiving service towards the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary election on Monday.
The service was to thank God for seeing the Commission throughout the period of registration of the new voters register and to also ask God to grant the nation a peaceful and a successful election.
It was an all emotional moment for the EC Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensa as she couldn’t hold back her joy as she danced to good music by the Winneba Youth Choir.
At the thanksgiving service, Mrs Jean Mensa expressed the belief that if God had seen the Commission through the registration process successfully, He will surely see the nation through a peaceful, violent free, orderly, victorious, timely and one of the most successful elections ever held in Ghana.
Mrs Jean Mensa who underscored the need to thank God for a successful journey so far said had it not been God, the commission wouldn’t have been able to successfully embark on the registration exercise.
She prayed that there will be peace, before during and after the election.
