NUNGUA: NPP women's wing holds free health screening for residents

The women’s wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Nungua, the Krowor Constituency of the Greater Accra region, has organised a free health screening exercise for thousands of residents in the area as part of their social responsibility towards improving the health of the constituents.

The free health screening which was put together by the Ever Loyal Elephants Family and the MP for the area, Elizabeth Afoley Quaye, attracted thousands of residents particularly women and children. 

Beneficiaries were treated and screened for Hepatitis, Blood Pressure, Ear and Throat complications, HIV, Malaria etc.

Chairperson of the Ever Loyal Elephantis Family, Obaapa Roberta Okyere, said the programme was to ensure residents were in good health ahead of the December 7 elections and also propagate the good works the NPP and the MP have been doing to improve the lives of the constituents.


Deputy consitueny women organizer of the NPP, Naa Adoley Sackey, commended the MP and the group for their immense contribution to the development of women in the area, citing the disbursement of soft loans for small scale businesses in the constituency by the MP. She charged residents to go all out and vote to retain the MP as a form of appreciation to her good deeds.


Some beneficiaries who were also given free medication after being screened, commended their MP, Elizabeth Afoley Quayle, for her continuous support to the development of the area, and promised to repay her on December 7th with a resounding victory.
