Ebony’s family to mark 3rd anniversary with ‘Jollof Day’

Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late dancehall songstress, Ebony Reigns, has detailed how the family intends to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the deceased.

In an interview with host of  Adwuma Mmer3”, B Ice, on Kumasi based Agyenkwa 101.9 FM, Starboy Kwarteng noted that a Memorial Birthday Celebration in honour of the late musician will be held on February 16, 2021.

Dubbed ‘Ebony Reigns Jollof Day’, Nana Opoku said it will take place at the Mampong Akropong School for the Blind and Deaf.

He added that the entire school will dine and celebrate with the family of the late dancehall to mark the day adding that all COVID-19 safety and preventive protocols will be observed.

As a father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng stressed his decision to preserve the legacy of his beloved daughter.

Ebony Reigns, who was known in private life as Pricilla Opoku Kwarteng, passed on in a car crash on February 8, 2018.
