In the alleged Will sighted by Atinkaonline.com, Sir John named his children and some individuals related to him as the ones the lands should be given to forever.

The Will also state that he owned land at the Ramsar area in Sakumono in Accra.

After the will went viral, the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources stated that it will investigate the said lands in the list.

He noted that Abu Jinapor’s statement created the impression that the Achimota lands are solely for government.

“Various governments of Ghana especially the era of Kuffour asked that some of the lands be given back to the chiefs. The question here is, are Sir John’s lands part of the ones given to the chiefs or part of the state lands?. We must be sure first,” he told Kaakyire Ofori Ayim.
