The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has interdicted five officers over their alleged involvement in the facilitation of foreign nationals through unapproved routes in the Aflao Sector Command.
An interdiction letter dated July 9, 2020 and signed by the Comptroller-General, Kwame Asuah Takyi, named the affected officers as Asst. Inspector Isaac Ahiafor, Inspector Sarah Adobea, ICO Juliana Aning, ICO Jennifer Owusu Ansah, and R.O Joyce Nketia.
While on interdiction, the errant officers will be entitled to two-thirds of their salaries.
