The Season 2 of Ghana’s biggest reality TV show, “Di Asa” will experience exciting performances from some notable artistes in Ghana including one of Ghana’s highlife legends, Ben Brako, and other top Hiplife artistes such as Article Wan, Paa Kwesi of “Dobble” fame, Lil shaker & Kojo Cue.
The biggest reality show Di Asa is set for the National Theatre on Saturday, August 25, 2018.
Audience would also get a dose of performances from fast rising young artiste, Dhat Gyal and Tamale’s finest, Sapashini.
The show which won the 2017 Radio and Television Program (RTP) Reality Show of the year has grown phenomenally over the past years with the Season 2 recording one of the biggest crowds in Reality Show History.
After a successful launch in Mpraeso, Kwahu on March 31st, 2018,audtioning for the show traveled the length and breadth of Ghana from, Bawku in the Upper East Region, to Tarkwa in the Western Region and ending up in Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region with the selection of 43 contestants .
The Di Asa house was brought to life when all the 43 ladies turned up on July 11 to compete for the ultimate prize of a brand new Suzuki Super Carrier from the Suzuki Centre at the Silver Star Towers in Accra.
After several weeks of performing highlife, Mapuka, freestyle and heritage dance forms under the eagle watch of Judges; Fred Kyei Mensah (Fredyma) and the 1986 World Dance Champion Adjetey Sowah, the number of contestants has been whittled down to ten. The final 10 received their golden tickets for the grand finale from the General Manager of Atinka TV ,JOT Agyemang on the 18th of August 2018.
Tickets for the sought after reality show are priced at GHC 50.00 for Regular and GHC 100.00 for the VIP.
