Atinka Kids Dance: Contestants to dance with high-life music on March 9

The contestants of Atinka Kids Dance are set to dance to high-life songs on Saturday, 9th March, 2024.

After their performance, those who do not have enough votes and do not perform well will be evicted.

While commemorating Heritage Month, the kids put up spectacular performances last week. They dressed beautifully in their Ghanaian attires, depicting the rich Ghanaian culture.

Due to that, all the contestants were saved from eviction.

At the end of last week’s show, Natty Bongo emerged best dancer.

Elsie had best costume while the best dance group went to Secret Superstar.

Over 200 children auditioned for the show, both individually and in groups.

However, 80 contestants were called to take part in the show.

So far, 10 contestants have been evicted. Aside from that some also left the show on health grounds.

Atinka Kids Dance is set to function for 16 weeks. This includes the first show to the grand finale.

Each week, the children are given tasks to perform with different genres of music to give audience varieties.

Atinka Kids Dance is a show that harnesses the dance talents of children and as well give them the platform to showcase their talents and to build their confidence.

The first season of Atinka Kids Dance saw a huge patronage, with Children showcasing their dance talents.

For this season, the winner of Atinka Kids Dance will receive a cash prize of GHC20,000.

The one who comes second in the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC15,000.

The third position will also take home a cash prize of GHC10,000.

Aside from the cash prize, they will all get goodies from the sponsors of the show.

Meanwhile, the position of contestants in the competition will be determined by 50 percent votes and 50 percent marks from judges.

To keep a child in the competition, one must vote for the short code *713*204# on all networks.

The show will always be live on Atinka TV every Saturday at 1pm.
