The Atinka Media Training Centre held its 3rd graduation ceremony on Friday, December 22,2023 at the Sika Hall inside Atinka Media Village.
The theme for the ceremony was Enhancing Your Career Through Professionalism, Discipline and Time.
Over 50 students graduated at the 3rd graduation ceremony of the Atinka Media Training Centre.
The students had six months training, both in theory and practicals. After doing three months in the classrooms, they were also taken to the various facilities at the Atinka media village to have hands-on practicals.
Some of the knowledge they acquired was in news reading, news writing, TV and radio presentation, sports presentation, operation of camera, video editing, radio engineering, graphic design among others.
Special awards were given to students for their hard work.

Speaking at the event, the GJA president promised to give slots to students of Atinka Media Training Centre to participate in the upcoming 3rd African Media Convention which will be held in Ghana for the first time in May 2024.
He also assured them of membership into the Association.
Mr Dwumfour also encouraged the graduates to practice journalism with no fear, adding that so long as they work within the ethics of the profession, they will be protected at all times against those who attack practitioners.He also testified that Atinka Media Training Centre is one of the best training centres in the country noting the quality presenters, writers, reporters produced by the school.
A Lecturer and Management Consultant who was also the Guest Speaker at the event, Dr Daniel Adjei encouraged the students to strive for more.
He also encouraged them to ensure whatever they do, they do it with integrity while they go into the field of work.He made the graduates understand that they will be known for their deeds, and so therefore whatever they do whether in public or private, they should always consider their integrity.
For his part, the Managing Director of Atinka Media Village, Mr Akwasi Kurankyi Nkyi also recommended Atinka Media Training Centre to those who have interest in practising in the media.
He noted that in 2024, the Centre will offer enrollment, adding that the 2024 version is going to be more advanced than the previous ones.

The Director at Atinka Media Training Centre, Nana Akomeah Marfo stated that although it was not easy, the outcome of the training has been greater. According to him, the graduates have been taught how to survive on their own with the training given to them and encouraged them to use their smartphones to start creating their own contents on social media.
The graduates also expressed their excitement over the training they had at the Atinka Media Training Centre, encouraging all to enroll at the Centre.
