One of Ghana’s finest Sports Data Journalist with Atinka Media Village, Mohammed Shabban, has launched a Ghana Premier League (GPL) Data book.
The book contains statistics of the Ghana Premier League for the past two seasons.
The Data Book also contains the truncated league and the 2020-21 league which ended on 17th July 2021.
The data contains statistics on player, coaches, match officials and clubs.
The Ghana Premier League (GPL) Statistics book was launched on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 at the plush Sika Hall at Atinka Media village.
The Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku, who was the guest speaker at the launch, congratulated Mohammed Shabban on the successful launch of his book.
He recounted how Mohammed Shabban rejected an offer he made him and instead continued to pursue his passion for Sports data analysis.
Kurt Okraku lauded the Journalist for his continuous support and dedication to Ghana’s football.

Also speaking at the launch, Coach Osmau who is a scout and an executive member of the office of the National Chief Iman also congratulated Mohammed Shaban on the launch of the GPL Data Book.
He described Mohammed Shabban as an intelligent sports journalist whose “knowledge in sports is deep”.
Mohammed Shabban’s dedication to the league has earned him the name “Ghana Premier” League Expert.
Indeed, if you have followed him for years, you wouldn’t be surprised about what he has done for Ghana Football.
He has compiled the entire data of the 2020-21 league with some history.
Shaban Mohammed says he has a long term plan which will transform Ghana Football for the better.
