Atinka TV’s Regina Asamoah honoured at Humanitarian Awards Global

News Editor at Atinka TV and host of Missing Children Documentaries, Ms Regina Asamoah has been honoured with a Certificate of Achievement at the just ended Humanitarian Awards Global.

She was nominated under the Community Child Protection category for hosting the Missing Children Documentaries which has so far reunited over 100 missing children with their families.

Regina Asamoah who is passionate about children and gender issues through her journalistic works have seen to justice for abused girls and support for several underprivileged children, therefore her recognition.

The Humanitarian Awards Global stands to celebrate and recognise NGOs, volunteers’ leaders, donors, Organizations, philanthropist, corporations and professionals in advancing the important work of humanity and making a difference in the lives of people in their localities and across the globe.

The purpose of the Humanitarian Awards Global is to recognize and celebrate humanitarians who demonstrate or impact individuals or society through their exceptional leadership.

It is also to honour the outstanding individuals involved in the various fields of charity and humanitarian work.

The awards seeks to celebrate the exceptional contributions of organizations to social development.

It is also to provide formal recognition and showcase those who are providing valuable contribution to humanitarian work in Ghana and global as well and to promote the development of best
practices and high standards.

Speaking at the event, Regina Asamoah thanked the organizers of the programme for noticing her works.

She advised families to teach their children basic information including the names of their parents, the area in which they live and other important information so that in a situation they get missing, their homes or families can easily be traced.

She also urged families to ensure to monitor their children whenever they step out, to prevent them from going missing.
