Atinka's "Abatoↄ Fie" commences at Akim Oda as NPP and NDC compare records

Atinka Media Village (AMV), has commenced its ‘Abatoↄ Fie’ series, a political platform to disseminate information to the public before, during and after the 2020 elections at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region today, (Thursday, August 13th 2020).
The programme was held at Akim Oda, where the giant TV station will organise the first audition of its flagship reality show, Di Asa Season four, dubbed,”Staying Safe Through Entertainment”.
The morning show saw an interaction with market women and also some political leaders in the Region.

The youth in the area mostly complained of unemployment in the Region.
Speaking with the host at the Liberty Bus Terminal, Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Birim Central Municipal Assembly, Victoria Adu Badu stated that government had employed most of the youth in the area, denying claims that most of the youth in the municipality were unemployed.
“We had trained teachers who were unemployed but have been employed now, if not for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), all the teachers would have been in the classroom. For nurses, we have employed those who have completed their education,” she said.
Ms Victoria Adu Badu added that,”A lot of the youth in afforestation have also been employed. On Forestry, some are also planting trees in schools while others are also doing nursery. It is true my municipality is a business place and therefore we have given most of the business persons loans from MASLOC to invest and uplift their businesses.”

On ‘One district one factory’ (1D1F), she stated that the existing  factories in the municipality had been expanded by the NPP Government, although some belonged to individuals.
She also added that a rice and palm nut factories in the Region had been revamped, and has employed a lot of the municipality.
For education, she said the Assembly had used common fund to provide desks for school children in kindergarten, an initiative that was introduced by her for the first time.
The Assembly, she added that had stabilise its revenue generation, adding that before she was appointed, the assembly’s revenue generation was low.
She urged persons in the municipality to adhere to all the safety protocols to prevent the spread of covid-19.
She also assured the market men and women who had not received their loans should  exercise patience since they will get the opportunity soon.

Meanwhile, the Di Asa season four auditions will be held at the Mandelena Hotel at 4.pm.
It will be live on Atinka TV and Atinka TV Ghana on Facebook.
