Deputy Communications Director for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, Adomako Baafi, has confirmed the claims that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, is incorruptible.
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has asked Ghanaians to rally behind his candidature to fight corruption.
Delivering an address at the UPSA in Accra on Wednesday 7th February 2024, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia revealed that he has personal integrity making him incorruptible and Ghana’s best bet in the fight against corruption.
“If it is someone with personal integrity who is not corrupt and can be trusted to fight corruption, then your choice, clearly, is Dr. Bawumia. And, if the person you have in mind is someone you can trust to work hard and tirelessly and selflessly for Ghana, it is Dr. Bawumia. If you are looking for the man who is more committed to protecting and using our natural resources for the benefit of Ghanaians, It is Dr. Bawumia,” he underscored.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Atinka FM’s am Drive with host Nana Yaw Fianko, Deputy Communications director for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, Adomako Baafi said Bawumia has an impeccable record of being incorruptible.
According to the NPP stalwart the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been trying desperately to associate Bawumia to corruption but to no avail.
“Three things that make Bawumia stand out over Mahama is his intelligence, morality and patience. NDC) has been trying desperately to associate Bawumia to corruption but to no avail.
Today the clergy and CSO’s have all said that Bawumia is incorruptible, let’s compare to Mahama… The NDC claim Ghana is impoverished yet they spent GHS35m for bus branding that were of no use to the country. There is also the famous ‘government official one’ issue, can you compare Bawumia to this? So if I say that Bawumia holds an impeccable record of being incorruptible then it’s in order”, Adomako added.
