"Be careful of substances you put on your eyes for treatment"

The Director General for United Nations’ Youth Association in Ghana who is also a Traditional Eye Care Specialist, Bishop Peter Kodjo Sackey has advised the public against the wrongful application of substance on the eye, as it has the tendency to compound eye related complications.

The DG, who also doubles as a preacher for the Church of Christ and Ahunyankwa Herbal and Scientific Research Centre at Mankessim in the Central Region, said nature has numerous cures and answers to every health challenge including eye diseases; glucoma and cataract but only through good knowledge and rightful application of herbs.
Bishop Sackey during an outreach programme at the Takoradi Central Church of Christ to introduce their unique formula for treating the eye to many diseases, said the Health for all goal on the SDGs was attainable to help empower people to work to improve livelihood by 2030.

The UN official said health was wealth and noted the need to seriously fight against diseases that interferes with the socio-economic well being of the people, particularly diseases that affect the eye.
“The unique traditional product to treat eye conditions only works by lifting the potion close to the eye and inhaling for fifteen minutes intermittently for one to two weeks for total cure or improvement,” he said.
Bishop Sackey said, the herbs which had been a family business for well over forty years has helped many people to have their eyes restored.
“We have decided to start a nation-wide outreach to introduce this formula and improve the lives of many Ghanaians in line with SDG goal three,” he added.
Bishop Sackey advised against activities that could make an individual prone to eye diseases and urged the public to take good care of their lives through proper dieting and sexual lives.
An eye patient, Mr. Messan Anotor in an interview explained how he applied substance formula and testified the changes it has brought to his sight.
