Bimbilla: Murder suspects surrender

 

Wanted suspects in the recent Bimbilla killings have surrendered to the Northern Regional Police Command.

The Suspects, Issah Alhassan Mobilla, 36, and Alhassan Hadi, 32, led by their lawyer reported to the regional Criminal Investigation Directorate(CID) after being declared wanted by the police.

The Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ussif Tanko, said the two were declared wanted when the police gathered intelligence how the suspects rode to the incident scene and opened fire, resulting in the death of four persons.

He said the   two suspects are currently in police custody assisting in investigations.

According to him, the police will continue to carry out comprehensive investigation into the incident and bring the perpetrators to book.

He said, a joint security task force is patrolling the Bimbila township to ensure law and order.
