CAF Champions league: Medeama boss calls for support

President of Medeama SC, Moses Armah Parker is calling for support following his team’s qualification to the CAF Champions League group stage

Speaking to pressmen on Monday, Mr Parker said “Qualifying to the group stage did not come on a silver platter”. He stressed that in terms of finances, it was a tough one adding that the team spent not less than $150,000 per match depending on the distance.

He emphasized that teams that participate in club CAF competitions are supported by their respective governments.

He called on the government of Ghana to do same adding, “It is going to restore the image of Ghana club football in the African continent”.
