The Government of Ghana has made available 5000 personal protective equipment (PPE) and other packages for frontline media workers in the country.

According to the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the move is to support and augment the work of the media amidst the pandemic.
Addressing the public on COVID-19, he stated that the PPEs and the other packages will be given to the various associations to distribute to media houses respectively.
