Customers of Ghana Water Company who have huge arrears to settle will still enjoy free water for the next three months as the president promised in his last address.
According to the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the arrears have been put on hold till the pandemic is over.
Speaking at a press briefing in Accra on Tuesday, the minister also said customers whose taps have been disconnected will be served by private tanker operators and that the cost will be absorbed.
