A Senior High School Student of the Komenda Senior High Technical School in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem Municipality of the Central Region, Mensah Sarafina has been lashed mercilessly by her Housemistress, Miss Ama Sika, for going to town without an exeat.
She was given forty lashes on her buttocks.
The student with one of her mates went home on Sunday for food from her parents.
In an interview with Atinka News, the victim said, on Monday, evening around 4 pm, the said Housemistress called the two girls in question and ordered them to kneel down which they obeyed.
After kneeling, Madam Ama Sika then gave Sarafina forty strokes on her buttocks with blood oozing all over.
She further stated that she showed the bruises on her buttocks to the Housemistress, who tried to convince her not to visit the infirmary immediately but she (Sarafina) refused and proceeded to the health post.
Meanwhile, all effort to reach the Headmistress of the school proved futile.
