First lady 'excited' about progress of work on Paediatric Intensive Care Unit

First lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, says she excited about the progress of work on the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The project, an initiative of the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundation, will help doctors and other hospital staff avert infant deaths when completed.

This is the second major project being undertaken by the Foundation after  the successful completion of the Mother and Child Unit of the Komfo Anokye Teching Hospital (KATH)

“I’m excited about the progress of work on our latest project; the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital by the Rebecca Foundation.

The contractors and artisans are working around the clock to make sure we deliver right on time to give our precious kids quality health care.

Thanks to everyone for the immense support. Together we will make a difference,” Mrs Akufo said in a Facebook post .
