Ghana Nurse-Midwife Trainees' Assoc. elects new executives for 2020/2021 academic year

 
 
The Ghana Nurse – Midwife Trainees’ Association (GNMTA) organized its 29th National Delegates Congress at the GRNMA Guest house, Ejisu – Krapa in the Ashanti Region from 20th to 23rd February, 2020, under the theme; “2020 The Year Of Nurses and Midwives: The Role of Trainees and Stakeholders Towards Attainment of Universal Health Coverage”
The programme as anticipated really lived up to it’s maximum expectation with several dignitaries across the length and breadth of the country gracing the occasion to make it worthwhile.
This year’s congress as perceived to be the best Congress to ever happen in the history of GNMTA witnessed the presence of the Registrar for Nursing and Midwifery Council, Mr. Felix Nyante, the 2nd Vice President of GRNMA, Mr. Daniel Atta Tuffour, the vice President for COHHETI ,Madam Linda R.B Mantey, Student activist and NUGS presidential aspirant, Mr Yeboah Boakye together with other GNMTA Ex Officios including Mr.Godwin Akaze, Mr. Batiah Semi – Ulah Santi, Mr. Sugari Abdul Rafik, Mr. Asare Danquah Jefferson and many more who enlightened delegates present at the Congress with their applauding speeches.

As part of the Constitutional mandate of GNMTA, new executives were elected to take over and stir the affairs of the Trainee nurses and Midwives at the national level and continue from where the immediate out-gone National executives led by H.E Biney Yaw Daniel ended their tenure of office.

We are therefore urging all and sundry to recognize the newly elected GNMTA National Executives as the month piece of GNMTA and should be given the needed cooperation and attention to be able to function effectively and also discharge their duties as National Executives.
Any issue pertaining to the welfare of the association should be directed to the newly elected executives headed by H.E Amfo-Adjei Elijah.
