The Black Stars of Ghana have booked their ticket to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after drawing 1-1 with the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
Ghana qualified on the away goal rule after their 0-0 scoreline in in Kumasi last Friday.
Thomas Partey scored the game-winning away goal in the 10th minute to upset the Super Eagles.
The Nigerians however equalized through a controversial penalty scored by William Troost-Ekong.
Even though the Black Stars were under pressure most of the time they managed to keep Nigerians at Bay till the final whistle was blown.
